Kelly & Tim
Being from cold Kansas City, we always rush down to Shores for our holidays, as soon as Christmas is over. This year was no different. The weather was fantastic! We usually don’t do a whole lot, except spring cleaning on our 4 condos at Shores, watch football, eat seafood, walks on the beach, and enjoy the ocean-side hot-tub.
For the two weeks we were here, we got alot done! I changed out all my comforters, shower curtains, linens, towels, etc. My hubby did all the man stuff: put new shelving in unit 1707, so our guests could have more storage space. We have lots of amenities in our storage closet, for our guests to use at no charge. We have lawn chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, beach towels, boogie boards, & more. Many of our guests have left “beach stuff” to pay it forward and not have to take it home. We just ask that you take care of it, as if it were your own!
We also, hired Carpet One, a fabulous local carpet company in Panama City, to install new carpeting and tile in Unit 1707. Next year, we will do the studios and Unit 1709. They did an awesome job! If you ever need any flooring in Panama City Beach, please call Carpet One owner, John Shepard – they are a great local flooring company, and stand behind their products.
We spent a quite New Years night, and could barely stay up for the stroke of midnight, but next year – we decided we would go to Pier Park, for the big beach ball drop. We watched so much football at home and at our favorite hang-out, just next door, Pineapple Willies. College Football is the best – we love it! Anyway, we got some fabulous pictures of the gulf of mexico, the pool and some great sunset pictures! It was really hard to leave our beautiful condos at the beach. But it was time for us to get back to Kansas City, to work! Until next time, we’ll be dreaming of the beach, and I’ll leave you with a few of the fabulous pictures we took, while there.
I love this one!

And as, I’m finishing this post, my husband is outside shoveling the snow, and we are to get about 8-10 inches of snow here in Kansas City, tonight. I guess now you know why I decided to write a post about the beach? I’m dreaming of it! Happy New Year to All! I hope 2011 is a blessed year for us all!
